TGIF! - Halloween Home Decor!

Halloween is just around the next week! It's one of my favorite holidays; I can't get enough spooky movies. If you plan to host a Halloween party and/or want to decorate your home for the trick-or-treaters; below are a few fun DIY ideas for a simple project to do on your own or with your kids!

Pumpkin Carving Competition Between The Husband And I

There are some seriously scary ways to add Halloween fright to your yard and indoors for your party. I want to keep this post a little more on the fun side.

Setting up the scene is important, so before your guests or trick-or-treaters get to the door, setting up the yard is must! I've shared a couple of ideas that can start outdoor and carry inside.

Haunting your home with Ghosts

Using cheese cloth and ghosts are made!

Outdoor Indoor

Bending a little bit of chicken into ghostly figures!

NOTE: this one can be a little more spooky in the dark for the little ones, so this idea might be better off in your low lit back yard while you host an adult Halloween party!

Graves are a must! If you can add a skeleton hand and/or head to the site is even better.

Using foam and marker with a couple of LED candles makes a good grave site.

Bates are always around on Halloween.

Cutting out bats from black craft paper and dangle them anywhere outside as well as inside will help set the mood.

Spiders everywhere will be sure to make your guests skin crawl

Spider sacs can be made from batting and stockings. Using magnetic strips, white felt and glue will help place spiders on any surface that a magnet sticks to. And making fresh soap with plastic spiders will catch your guests by surprise.

What's Halloween without Skulls

These are just fun to have either in your fireplace or outside in the backyard on the fire pit!
